What are purpose of buckets when creating a new fund?

The use of Buckets are only applicable when you are generating your statements using the Annual Statements (CSV) option with this template.  Gabriel Annual Donation Report - By Buckets Template or Gabriel Annual Donation Report - By Buckets Template with Non-Deductible Contributions.  Gabriel allows the user to group their funds into 3 sub-totals and assigning a description to each bucket within the template.  On each fund, you can assign them Bucket 1, Bucket 2 or Bucket 3. During Annual Statement generation the system will automatically sub-total transactions according to the bucket assigned to each fund.  If your Diocese has Diocese Funds implemented they will automatically be assigned to Bucket 3.
