Setting Up Your Church Information Screen

When you are a new user to Gabriel you will want to be sure your Church Maintenance screen is setup correctly.  This screen can be edited at anytime if any of the information changes.  To access the Church Maintenance screen scroll to Administrative > Church Maintenance.

Note:  Only users with Church Administrator access will be able to access this screen.

Church Name

This field contains the name of your church.  The program uses this field when you generate your annual year-end statements, envelopes, and will appear in some reporting that is generated in Gabriel.

General Information

  • Address:  fields should contain a valid USPS verified address for your church. The program uses this field when you generate your annual year-end statements, envelopes, and will appear in some reporting that is generated in Gabriel.
  • Phone Number: can be in any format and will also be pulled when you generate your annual year-end statements, envelopes, and will appear in some reporting that is generated in Gabriel.
  • Email:  This field is required and should be populated with an email that is checked on a regular basis.  This will be the "from" email address and the email address that parishioners can respond to if you send emails within Gabriel.  If this field is left blank you will not be able to email within Gabriel.
  • Website: This field is optional.  The valid format is https://domainname
  • Fax Number:  This field is optional.
  • Online Giving Form URL:  The link to your online giving page can be inserted into this field.  If you choose to use the Member Portal functionality this will expose the URL for the parishioners when they log into the Member Portal.  The parishioner can scroll to Donate > Subscriptions and it will bring them over to your online donation page.

This section is used to establish the integration between Gabriel and eCatholic.  The available integrations and instructions are included in the orange links.

Other Integrations

If you currently use Ministry Schedule Pro or One Call Now you can setup the integrations by clicking Create located on the right side of your screen.
