We have some parishioners who no longer wish to receive emails. How do we unsubscribe them?
If you have a family and/or members who contact the parish office directly and they no longer wish to receive emails from the parish edit the family and/or member records by unchecking the notification boxes.
They may also hit Unsubscribe at any time when they receive an email from the Parish but this does not currently uncheck the notification boxes within the Family and/or Member Records.
Within the Family Record open the notification boxes in the drop-down next to the email. Uncheck the notification boxes. This will prevent emails from being sent to the Family. Hit Save. Within the Member Record open the notification boxes in the drop-down next to the email. Uncheck the boxes. This will prevent emails from being sent to the Members. Hit Save.
You may also want to enter a PRM note within the family and/or member record documenting this request. This will let other users know that this family has made this request and it's not an oversight that the notification boxes are not checked.
You also have the option of documenting this information in the Note box within the Family Record.
Please do not contact Gabriel Support to unsubscribe Families and/or Members from receiving emails. This function should be done by the Parish.
